The Liberation Graphics Collection of Palestine Posters/Memory of the World (Nominated)

The entire 2017 Memory of the World nomination form for the Liberation Graphics Collection of Palestine Posters may be downloaded here

The history of the Liberation Graphics Collection of Palestine Posters as well as the development of both the Palestine Poster Project Archives and this website are outlined in detail in my thesis

Curator's Note: The first four posters featured in the Liberation Graphics Collection of Palestine Posters (below) were published in 1965 and are the very first posters ever published by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The nominated collection begins with these seminal works and continues on chronologically to the year 2000. The Liberation Graphics Collection of Palestine Posters is a subset of the more than 11,500 posters featured at the Palestine Poster Project Archives web site. The entire contents of the PPPA website are not being nominated to the Memory of the World program: only the 1,600 posters featured in the Liberation Graphics Collection of Palestine Posters have been nominated.
